The Daily Scrum, is the meeting that the Scrum teams have daily and it lasts 15 minutes. The team plan what they will do in the next 24 hours and this optimizes the collaboration and the performance of the team.
The Daily is held at the same time and in the same place every day, so that it becomes a habit for the team.
The Daily optimizes the possibility of the Scrum Team to fulfil the objective of the Sprint and avoids having surprises at the end, like realizing that the team will not achieve what was committed because of a problem they could have solved along the way.
The three questions that each team member answers are:
What did I do yesterday?
What will I do today?
Do I have any impediments?
